Communication – It’s More Than What You Say
Peggy Sullivan, PP, PLS
Communication is a critical skill for almost everything we do. When we think about communicating, we often focus on one side of the communication process—what we are saying and how we are saying it. But communication involves more than that. Communication is a two-way process. Communication involves more than speaking or writing words; it also involves listening, watching, and gauging the reaction of the audience with whom you are communicating. In this session, we will focus on the communication process, barriers to communication, and ways to improve your communication skills and make them more effective.
